And my journey goes...: January 2010

The month of January 2010 had been eventful for me, although only 18 days has passed... Been wanting to post these pictures up but procrastinated till today, as usual, the lazy bee me. So here it goes..

Steamboat at Putt's place
We had our usual steamboat on the 2nd. Actually, we had wanted to get together to exchange christmas pressies and also to celebrate Elaine's and Pie's birthdays. Oh well, since it happened on the 2nd, we had 4 reasons to better commemorate that day..hee..

Everyone was told to come by 7pm but Elaine and I were late..(sorry, my bad my bad). By the time we've arrived, this was what greeted us! Yummmm.....

And so it began with the bowling of the soup...hhmmmmnnn....nice...Putt boiled the soup for hours, hence, it was very tasty and what we call in Cantonese; 'enough fire'!

The food was great, but was made better with the special sauce that Putt is famous for. Thanks Putt!

There we were...happily eating...yum yumm..

JJ had to leave slightly before 10 as he wasn't feeling well..sigh...

We reserved these portion for Pie and Rex who came at 10 plus after their Saturday Church routine.

We were all so fulllll....Elaine had to go lie down...whahaha

Somehow, (I do not know why) we decided to do some exercise... :D

Pie joined in to the fun after her dinner....they were doing some sort of tango cum karate chop dance...

After all those bashing, hitting, slapping and kicking, we finally settled down and watched Paranormal Activities. We were sipping red wine during the movie...hmmm...(courtesy of Mr. Ivan Lee, because he could not make it that night...thanks dear! muaks..) Well, the movie was scary as it played with one's mind, somewhat akin to Blair Witch Project, but the camera was much steadier. I do really wonder, if the clips are real or just a re-enaction of the true story? All in all, I would say the movie succeeded in scaring most of us when we were watching it, but I thought we've forgotten about it right after...because Kar Wai played the Ip Man DVD, which got us so engrossed.
