Its more amazing how one expects one brain to not only contain...but digest all of these…

(the thickness of these books is 19 cm tall ok!!)

...and expected to be coupled with previous knowledge equilvalent to this.....
Note : Official (dreadful) exam dates - 21st and 22nd July 2008.
Boo hoo hoo…cry...we all should..
Additional information:-
The current professional papers that my classmates and I are taking this semester are called Technical Integration (“TI”) 1 (Business Change) and 2 (Business Reporting). In short, it’s a combination of 4 subjects, namely :-
Audit & Assurance;
Taxation;
Business Analysis and
Corporate Reporting
...into 1 paper but tested twice, hence TI 1 and TI 2.
Each subject is accompanied by at least 2 study manuals with coloured printed cover...(only the cover!) that looks like this..

Having been given a view of our 'almost-imposible' mission to be attempted above, we always wonder why our managers, seniors and/or juniors always say,
“Wahhhh…2 months study leave...so long!!!!!! What? Paid leave?!?! So unfair...so envy!”
However, little do they know about the agony that we have to endure, little things such as...
i) We have classes from 9am to 5pm not only on weekdays but weekends too;
ii) Mock exam every now and then, means no going out and having to study everyday after classes till late;
iii) The irony of being ‘on leave’ but in actuality, nerding at home or occasionally having to follow up on the unfinished business (a.k.a work);
iv) Study stress is much MUCH MUCH worst than work stress..because we have no team members to share the burden with;
v) The 2 papers this round cost RM7k ++
vi) If we fail, more costs will be incurred for the re-sit(s) and study leaves will be unpaid then;
vii) Living up to the general assumption of our colleagues: “ICAEW students? Must be very smart! (work-wise, i mean)
(Note: We actually have less effective experience than our peers due to the long study leaves taken);
And last but certainly not the least...
viii) We are bonded for 4 superrrrrbLy looOoooOoOOoOong years!!!
Yes, you are right...we often wonder why we put ourselves through all the hassle.
Maybe because we are told that it will be worth every bit and penny of it when we see our names associated with the word, "Chartered Accountant".
Let's just cross our trembling fingers and hope that our tiny brains would not fail us (though, eating lotsa fish during the period leading up to the exam date may help loads *winks*)..
