I've been back to work since last Wednesday. Gladfully, I'm on training this whole week which means I get to go back earlier than usual. I realised that I have nothing much to write about as compared to when I was on leave. Is it due to the voluminous brain activity going on during working hours that practically made it blank during the evening? The possibility is there as I would normally 'pengsan' on my bed once I reached home for 1-2 hours before my dinner. Today, I was soOoo tired I literally fell to my bed and snoozed off till 10pm. The main reason was because because of my screwed-up sleeping hours that I developed during my study break. If you noticed in my previous
post, I usually turned nocturnal during these breaks as I prefer to study in the weirdest hours. And so, I will go to zzzland when the sun just went up and force myself to wake up at noon. Usually I will not be able to fight my sleep-devil and ended up waking up at 3-4pm!! o.O Am still trying to 'tune' it back to normal to embrace the nearing peak period that everyone loves to hate. Sigh...
Oh well, I guess I'll just update on what I have done after the dreadful Monday. I took leave on the following Tuesday as my body really needed sleep. And I went to work at Menara Sunway (new engagement for me, the ever-infamous Sunway City Berhad) for 3 days before Friday night came!!! And boy, Friday night was fun, delicious and torturous! Why?
-Delicious-
We had steamboat at Putt's place. She was still on leave and hence she volunteered to prepare a steamboat feast for us at her condo. Yum!!!! I loved all of it...except for the 'taufu yuen failure' but was still edible wert! :) The meat balls were great...and not to mention, the raw egg+soy sauce+coriander mixture was sOooOoO good! Thanks Putt and Louis! You have been such great hosts. They even set up their dining table for us! Really, we appreciate it to bits! And each of us only had to pay RM15..kekeke :D
-Torturous-
After dinner, we played 'Torture Poker' which made most of us 'lao sai' the next day due to the overdose of fibre in our 'already-filled-with-meatballs-stomach'. Basically, we played it the Texas Hold-em style. Any players who backed out at any time will have to consume 1 piece of Jacobs biscuits. Those who carried on till the end but did not have the lowest-score cards can escape, a privilege for having the guts. The loser will have to jam 3 pieces of Jacobs down their throat!! The winner obviously do not have to eat anything further but to shuffle the cards for the next round.
Among the 5 of us, Elaine, JJ, Louis, Putt and I, we finished 1 whole tincan of Jacobs and approximately another half of the tincan of a similar sugar-coated biscuits. The hardest part---we refrained ourselves from drinking water as it will only result in the biscuits expanding in our 'oh-so-full' stomachs! It was soOoOo dry and we were so full!!!!!! It got to the point where none of us can bear to put anymore biscuits into our mouths. It was so dreadful! I would think everyone of us had
at least 15 biscuits each. I know Putt had like 30 or so while I had around 25 of them! It did not sound like much when I typed it here but please bear in mind, we just finished our dinner not long ago!
-Fun-
Everyone laughed so hard that night! At least I know I did. It was soOoO funny looking at the expression of others when they have had to add 3 more biscuits on their plate which was already piled up with them.
The only regret was that we should have taken pictures of the night. Well, I gotta feeling we will re-live the torturous night after Elaine is done with her exams. Shall then post the pictures up here! :D
Then came Saturday, when I just stayed home--piggy style! heheh The poker ended around 3am and slept around 5am. Hence, couldn't wake up for lunch even.
Sunday came and it was shopping day! Yippeeeeee! Bought myself a DKNY's Be Delicious Fresh Blossom. Its light pink in colour! :D The scent's a combination of Green Apple and Cherry Blossom. Its almost similar to the all Green one, but with a hint of sweetness in its scent. I absolutely loved it!!!
My new scent with my duvet as backdrop :D
Green and pink..i heart them all :)
Bought a few things, 3 work tops and a pair of casual slipper/sandals, to give myself a treat myself as I have not been shopping for the past 1 month prep me for work..teehee... I'm totally agreeable with the following..
I always say shopping is cheaper than a psychiatrist.
